Shanghai Through our Eyes

Martin Wawra is the managing director of Voith Turbo Greater China. He moved from Germany to Shanghai in 2011, but his first time visiting the city was in 1998. He recounts some memories from then and talks about the rapid changes in Shanghai. In relation to that, he touches on Shanghai’s architecture: how can a city keep its authentic atmosphere while modernizing?
