The unique brown giant panda

As we all know, “national treasure” pandas are white except for the black eyes and limbs.

But there is such a special giant panda whose coat color is brown. This giant panda is called “Qizai”. It was discovered by conservationists in the Qinling Mountains in 2009 and has since lived in the Giant Panda Breeding Research Center of the Shaanxi Academy of Forestry Sciences.

“Qizai” are brown from childhood to most of them. According to relevant data, Qinling is the only area where brown giant pandas have been found. Since 1985, 9 brown giant pandas have appeared in Qinling. The pandas endemic to China mainly live in Sichuan and Qinling. “Qizai” is the only brown panda in the world.
