EU officials’ visit to the China Cultural Center

The China Cultural Center hosted a reception organised by the Mission of China to the EU to celebrate the three consecutive years’ success of the EU officials experiencing China Seminar.

The Mission of China to the EU held a reception at the China Cultural Center in Brussels to celebrate three consecutive years success of EU officials’ experiencing China Seminar.

During these seminaries, members of the EU member states and participants from working-related bodies are learning about China and share together their work experience in the country. But soon, they will also be able to experience China through art exhibitions, performances, Chinese language and food programmes, etc. at the China Cultural Center. This visit is currently the focus of projects under the EU-China High-Level Dialogue, launched in 2013. The highlights of the projects include EU-China exchanges and cooperation, and promote cross-cultural understanding. The opening of the China Cultural Center in Brussels is the normalization of these cultural exchanges.

Before the event, the guests also visited with great interest the Center’s exhibition “Traces dans l’Espace et le Temps (1964-2013)”.
