Ding ware

Inspired by kesi silk tapestry from Dingzhou, the Dingzhou kiln improved its embossing technique on Ding ware to perfection. This dish is decorated with an embossed cloud and dragon design on its interior. This exquisite example of Ding ware was probably used as an imperial object.
