Happy Chinese New Year

February 1 marks the Spring Festival and we are launching a monthlong series of virtual events to ring in the Chinese New Year! The two main themes are “Happy Spring” and “Ice and Snow”.

The China Cultural Center in Brussels is sharing these activities under the guidance of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People’s Republic of China and with the support of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Kingdom of Belgium, the Mission of the People’s Republic of China to the European Union, the Network of International Culturalink Entities and the Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture and Tourism.

The content is very diverse, colorful and warm. We will explore Chinese traditional culture from different perspectives. Encounter fine arts through concerts and art exhibitions or get a taste of Chinese cuisine. You can also discover more of Chinese folk culture thanks to a variety of videos and photos.

This year, the Winter Olympics will be taking place in the period of the Chinese New Year, so winter sports and ice and snow fun can’t be missing from the 2022 Spring Festival program!
