Dynamic Shanghai | Poetic Jiangnan: Style of China

From June 17 until June 21, this exhibition will be held within the framework of “Dynamic Shanghai”, bringing Shanghai-style culture and Jiangnan culture to Brussels.

“Dynamic Shanghai” is a promotional project that aims to present a different image of Shanghai to the international stage, in order to create new opportunities for cultural cooperation across the world.

As a part of this project, “Poetic Jiangnan: Style of China” will be on display at the China Cultural Center in Brussels from June 17 until June 21. The exhibition consists of two components: one will show iconic symbols of Shanghai through static displays, while the other showcases certain landmarks via Chinese ink paintings.

“Poetic Jiangnan: Style of China” is a continuation of the Chinese Culture & Tourism Weeks, which featured two exhibitions, “The Beautiful Shandong” and “The Amazing Shanghai”, from May 16 to May 31. By expanding the Chinese Culture & Tourism Weeks, the Belgian and European audience can get further acquainted with the beauty of China through the charm of Jiangnan culture. Preceded by a media event, the exhibition introduces Shanghai city as a place of cultural marvel and deeply strengthens culture and tourism integration.
