July is Chinese Movie Nights REPLAY month. An opportunity to watch, if you missed them, or watch again a few films played during the year. After a break in August, the Chinese Movie nights will return with a new programme in September.

Synopsis
In the 1970s in China, LU Yanshi, a professor, is sent to a labour camp during the Cultural Revolution. He escapes and secretly meets his wife, FENG Wanyu, but their daughter, Dandan, reports them to the police. LU is sent back to labour camp. He finally returns home, years later, only to find that his beloved wife does not remember him…

Adapted from the novel The Criminal Lu Yanshi written by novelist YAN Geling, Coming Home is the latest drama by widely acclaimed Chinese film director ZHANG Yimou and was first presented to the public during the 2014 Cannes Film Festival in the out of competition section.
