“Blooms of Spring” Chinese New Year Concert

The Spring Festival, or the Chinese New Year, is regarded as one of the most important traditional festivals for Chinese people. In this period of blossoming, the Jiangsu Women’s National Orchestra present “Blooms of Spring”, a high-quality concert highlighting the prosperity of the season.

This orchestra is reputed as “the jasmine of Chinese traditional music”. Their concert aims to show the festive mood of the Chinese New Year as well as deliver the good wishes and expectations of the Chinese people for the year to come. It shares a spirit of peace and harmony with people all over the world. The concert lasts 45 minutes and contains five parts, including eleven musical pieces on celebrating the Chinese New Year.
