Synopsis
“Ala changso” is a Tibetan folk song, meaning “you have made this wine”. With its beautiful plateau, magical civilization, simple folk customs, and ordinary love, Tibet forms the background for the story of a seriously ill woman who hides her diagnosis and, even though her husband opposes it, sets out for a long pilgrimage, leaving behind her son in the care of her parents. In the process of this pilgrimage, the woman’s secrets are revealed, layer by layer, including her history with her first husband.
